Chillicothe OH - - In the back half of the doubleheader with Portsmouth 23, the Colts weren’t ready to play as they spot Portsmouth 7 runs on 5 hits, 2 errors, and 2 wild pitches. Fortunately, the Colts were able to bounce back and play some defense while starter Kole Williams settles on the bump. Williams works three innings total, allowing no runners to reach base in the second and third innings of the game. Reliever Kyle Wingo works two innings giving up an earned run and striking out three. Closer Ryan Schwartz works three innings of 3 hit baseball to get the win for the Colts. Schwartz strikes out 5 and gives up no earned runs.

The Cardiac Colts continued to battle after a very sloppy start scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to send the game into extra innings. The 7th inning 3 run bomb by Jaden McNish proves to be the game-changer before the Colts scored two runs with two outs on a Ryan Schwartz walkout single. Plenty of Colts contributed at the plate including McNish (2 H), Schwartz (2 H), Lucas Foglesong (H, RBI), Williams (H), Cole Ratcliff (H, RBI), Lane Larson (H, RBI) and Nick Salyer (H, RS).
