Ashland KY  - - The Colts come out of the gate quickly scoring 3 runs in the top of the 1st inning sending 8 batters to the plate and scoring 3 runs on 3 hits, an error, and two walks.  The lead was short-lived as the Portsmouth 23 Bluejays quickly erased the lead by scoring 5 runs in the bottom half of the first inning. After 3 innings of play, the game was knotted at 3 for both clubs.
